Great British dishes start with great British ingredients
We are proud to work with farmers, fishmongers and grocers who share our passion and ethical stances. Our groceries and bread are delivered daily from Borough Market, with our meats coming to us from high-welfare Lake District Farms. Our fish is responsibly sourced from UK waters whilst our pantries are stocked with produce from local London businesses wherever possible.

A la carte dining and a traditional British roast on Sundays
Our English menus are flavoursome, uncomplex and flattered by a well-chosen wine list. Enjoy seasonal, produce-driven cooking that celebrates the best of British ingredients on our a la carte menu, and if you are ready to indulge, our sharing specials and expert puddings are a must-order! Meanwhile, our generous Sunday roast is one of the best in the area and served with pillowy Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings, of course.
Theatre dining at Shakespeare’s Globe
Our theatre menu is served in the Swan restaurant before any performance in the Globe Theatre or Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Featuring a selection of English dishes from our seasonal a la carte menu, you can enjoy two courses for £25.50 or three for £28.50 and be right on time for the show.

Add a little magic to your afternoon tea
Our ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ afternoon tea features an array of tempting fancies inspired by Shakespeare’s great romantic comedy. Dainty wild mushrooms and evocative floral and berry flavours recreate the characters’ journeys through the play. Our heady Love Potion cocktail is a fitting accompaniment, whilst steaming silver teapots of loose-leaf tea brew. For a truly Shakespearean day out, pair with a fascinating tour of the Globe theatre next door.
For guests with a savoury tooth, our Gentleman’s afternoon tea is a deliciously different indulgence. Think hearty rare-breed sausage rolls, baked Stilton cheese scones and potted smoked salmon.
Comfortable dining in a stylish setting near Tate Modern
Come for dinner but stay for the relaxed yet chic vibes and that view. By day, our second-floor dining room is light, airy and pleasant, and come dust the lighting is low and the views of the river are particularly special.
