What a year it’s been. As we prepare to wave goodbye to 2015 we’ve taken a look back on some of the best bits this year had to hold.
Head Bartender Charles’ creative cocktail inventions, including the summer classic French Garden, with the perfect blend of Hendricks gin, elderflower, cucumber, lemon and mint. Mark our words, the cocktail oozes French charm just as much as Charles himself.
Our annual summer soiree, where some of our closest friends and residents joined us for a seasonal celebration up in the Balcony Room, complete with Indian Summer styling, seasonal bowl food and the show-stopping dessert station.
Summer season in the Globe theatre, where the stage was set with a feast of Shakespearean delights including Romeo & Juliet, As You Like It and Much Ado About Nothing.
Taking part in the London Restaurant Festival with our London Menu and hosting our first supper club. Executive Chef, David Johnson, proved to fellow Londoners that you can serve a mouth-watering menu using ingredients only sourced from the capital
Supporting the brilliant work of Demelza Hospice with a charity gala in the Underglobe, with an enchanted Mid Summer Night’s Dream theme, glittering entertainment and plenty of fundraising.
The Swan Events team bringing home the bacon at the London Venue Awards, as the Underglobe was crowned London’s Best Corporate Party Venue.
Afternoon Tea, and lots of it! Whether you’re a sweet or a savoury lover, we served up more afternoon teas than we care to count in 2015, and we were also joined by tea expert Caroline Hope, who gave her fascinating insight into the history of afternoon tea.
