Find out a bit more about Harry, our Head of Restaurants.
S: What is your role here at the Swan?
H: I look after the management team for the restaurants. I’m on the floor as much as possible and when I’m not doing that, I’m working on strategies to help drive the restaurant forward. In the end though, it’s all about giving the best possible experience to every customer that comes through the door.
S: What is it you love about the working here at the Swan?
H: It’s an amazing building, incredible location, we have great people working here and an awesome view across the river. What’s not to love?
S: What’s your favourite dish on the menu?
H: My favourite at the moment is the pheasant. I’m a big fan of game and I think the dish is a lovely all-rounder, not to mention it’s very rich.
S: What’s your place to eat out or dish to cook at home?
H: My favourite restaurant at the moment is Toast.E.D in East Dulwich. It’s a British Tapas place that’s been about 5 years now. It’s great quality, seasonal food in a very relaxed environment.
S: What’s your secret hangover cure?
H: A bloody Maria. I love tequila.
S: Who would be your ideal dinner party guest?
H: Eddie Izzard. I think he’s incredibly intelligent and funny, so what a great guy to sit and have dinner with.
