Afternoon Tea Featured in Evening Standard

The Evening Standard’s website featured Swan, Shakespeare’s Globe with a piece on the Midsummer Night’s Dream afternoon tea, noting how guests can “enjoy the sweet and savoury menu that closely relates to the characters, food and drink presented in Shakespeare’s play”.

It talks about the restaurant’s location by the Thames River and how one can “have a spot of afternoon tea with a Shakespeare theme” – via our afternoon tea menu in honour of 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare, but in addition to that, on April 23rd 2016, “the themed afternoon tea party will be overlooking the Thames ahead of Emma Rice’s staging of A Midsummer Night’s Dream the same night.”

Menu choices include items that relate to famous Shakespearean characters, and you can find out the whole menu here on our afternoon tea page when it is available.
